SYDENHAM, SE26
We took this 1930 property and gave it a rebirth, adding a new loft conversion, existing chimney breast was removed to open up the room. A newly built front roof structure, roof tiles, roof windows, rear sliding doors and glazed Juliet balcony flood light into an expanded contemporary space.
The property was fully rewired, new heating system, two bathrooms and ground floor toilet offer not only functionality but beautiful modern spaces to be enjoyed. Bespoke joinery and storage were designed and built adding simplicity and function. The new staircase and ground floor kitchen reconfiguration with wood effect porcelain floor tiles and underfloor heating modernise the interior.
The rear garden patio was raised to create with flush floor finish, offering a flow and connection through the house, connecting the inside and out environment. Garden landscaping and high-quality fencing with polished concrete pathways and a rear patio draw your attention to the back of the garden while maintaining the inherent relationship.
We installed contemporary aluminium windows throughout and a multi-fuel burner in the front lounge, making this an inviting and comfortable home. The front of the property has had a similar treatment, a new polished concrete driveway. A new aluminium front door and rebuilt garden walls, all completed in a contemporary silicone render finish off this beautiful transformation.
We asked the clients to tell us how the process was for you. Enjoy the video and get inspired!
